School Sponsorship Initiative Program of Haiti: August 26, 2016
Backpacks/school supplies distribution: We were able to provide school supplies along with backpacks to 50 families in need in Fauche, a rural community in Haiti. We also sponsors children to E.C.D.B school for the year. A special thanks to Sharon Kinsey: Camden County 4H Agent and the members of 4H Junior Council for their donation of $250 to this cause.
More Backpacks/school supplies distribution: We traveled to L'Acul, Leogane( rural community) to distribute backpacks and school supplies to 25 families in need and paid annual school(Institution Mixte Yahvé Jiré)tuition for these children. We thank all of our donors that help make a differences in the lives of these children and and their families.
More Backpacks/school supplies distribution: Destiny's Local Staff traveled to Meyer ( rural community up in the mountain near Jacmel) to distribute backpacks and school supplies to 25 families in need. Due to lack of funding we were not able to accommodate
more families or pay for their school tuition at this time.
Destiny Outreach Center also provided medications for high blood pressure/diabetes/multivitamins/oral hydration packe
ts/ children tylenol/ and medication dispenser syringes to Fauche, Meyer Clinic, and CBU(Orphelinat L'eglise de la Comprehension de la Bible)
